My name is Tristan. I started this blog to explore the intersection of faith, spirituality, and modern life. Too often, our spiritual struggles are boiled down to canned and unsatisfying answers that no longer work for us.

Through my writing, I seek to offer new perspectives on questions of faith and spirituality. You can expect to find commentaries that delve into the deeper, contemplative aspects of spirituality, explore mystical traditions from around the world, and attempt to reflect on the role of faith in the modern world.

About me

My own spiritual journey has been a blend of traditions. And, while I’m not sure I’ll ever fully settle into any one expression of faith, I have always felt myself most drawn to a Christian expression of spirituality. But, through the years, I’ve journeyed through Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Sufi Islam, and numerous other traditions.

This blog is a reflection of that journey - a place where I want to wrestle with all that I have gleaned from the faith traditions of the world as I attempt to reconcile them into a coherent worldview for myself and, perhaps one day, for others.
