Q & A

  • What is the purpose of this blog?

To act as a portfolio for my writing on topics of faith and spirituality, as well as a place to explore contemporary issues from a spiritual perspective, bridging the traditions of Christianity, Hinduism, and Buddhism.

  • Who is this blog for?

Anyone interested in engaging with diverse spiritual and theological questions in a modern age.

  • What spiritual traditions do you draw from?

I draw primarily from the apostolic Christian traditions, be it Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Anglican, or otherwise. I also find a deep resonance with Advaita Vedanta Hinduism and certain sects of Mahayana Buddhism.

  • How can I engage with this content?

Please feel free to contact me directly using the contact page or sign up for the Mystics Monthly Newsletter.

  • What is Mystics Monthly?

Mystics Monthly is a monthly newsletter containing excerpts from my writings here for those who aren’t keen on checking the site themselves, news stories relating to Christian mysticism, and new commentaries about that month’s events.

  • What is Christian mysticism?

Christian mysticism is a stream of thought and practice within wider Christianity that emphases direct spiritual interactions with God, unity with the divine, and, more often than not, leans away from the idea of a personal God and more towards God as the root of all being - a transcendent force of existence.
